This was very easy to do! No cutting/splicing involved. All you need is a large Phillips head screwdriver to mount the ground wire.
Now I have tested this. With all the prongs set to 'off' (up position) the signals cancel after 10 blinks, or about 8 seconds. Unlike a real turn signal canceller, if you are going to make successive right or left turns you have to click the turn signal indicator before retrying another successive turn in the same direction. Install time? About 10 minutes.
Make sure you connect the ground wire directly to battery ground or it may not work correctly. The brake delay is not a separate wire. It's the red wire in the three wire harness that comes with the kit.
